Salisbury Soroptimists raise funds for charity

Eight teams battled it out on the annual quiz night all vying to be the ultimate champions.

With six rounds of questions, and two table rounds, the teams were ready for their cheese ploughman's supper and homemade soup to help fuel the brain cells but the clear winners were The Tenor Ladies. Each team member was awarded a potted cyclamen plant as their prize and to remind them of their evening.

£700 was raised and will be split between two charities: Edukaid, - helping to improve the lives of women and girls in Tanzania, and the Salisbury Women's Refuge which helps women and children fleeing from domestic abuse.
